5 Beautiful Botanical Restaurants
Every interior space needs a little green. Plants can breathe life into a space (both literally and from a design perspective!) and will make just about any room feel that much warmer and more inviting. Given my fondness for bringing the outside in, it’ll come as no surprise that I’ve fallen in love with these five botanical restaurants. From a greenhouse inspired space in Los Angeles to the Amazon in Madrid, these restaurants are styled with lush greens, vertical gardens and tropical decor. But don’t worry, you don’t have to be an avid gardener to appreciate these spaces, a love of cool design and great food will do just fine!
Commissary, Los Angeles
Step inside this chic greenhouse at the Commissary at the LINE Hotel in Los Angeles. Don’t miss the weekend brunch feast with unlimited select entrees that also includes a prime rib carving station.
Bar Botanique, Amsterdam
Bar Botanique is a refreshing tropical destination for brunch and drinks with friends. They have everything from burgers and pizzas to a variety of vegetarian options. If the sun’s out and you’re lucky enough to grab a seat on their large patio, you might as well just stay all day!
Restaurant Amazonico, Madrid
Experience what they call a gastronomic jungle at Restaurant Amazonico in Madrid, Spain. You had me at the lush green velvet seating, incredible cocktail bar and live jazz!
Puntarena, Mexico City
Inside the historic Downtown Hotel in Mexico City you’ll find this gorgeous living green wall that gives the restaurant Puntarena a stunning backdrop. You can also cruise the shops that circle the second floor of this hotel.
Hotel Amour / Love Restaurant, Paris
There are two Love Hotels, Hotel Amour and Hotel Grand Amour. Both are “a place where life, art and fashion meet” but Hotel Amour has the Love Restaurant which is an adorable bistro set in an exotic garden.
