Sheldon Chalet, Denali National Park, Alaska, USA

Venture into the wild in high style at the Sheldon Chalet, in one of America’s most incredible National Parks. The longtime dream of Don and Roberta Sheldon, homesteaders who claimed the land in the mid-50s, this five bedroom property is nestled on five private acres within Denali National Park. Perfect for experiencing the northern lights, heli-skiing, snowshoeing and hosting feasts of the finest Alaskan seafood, this property is designed for ultimate seclusion and adventure. Imagine helicoptering to a high alpine picnic, or trekking on an ancient glacier.

This is the stuff that travel dreams are made of. The chalet is perched 6,000 feet above the wilderness and overlooks some of the most dramatic vistas in the Alaska Range. Be ready to fly, as it is only accessible by air from Anchorage or Talkeetna. This property is truly spectacular, and is the only private land in the national park.
