Notes

How to Make Hot Honey Syrup

  • 1/4 cup hot honey
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/2 cup water
Method:
  1. Warm honey and water until smooth.
  2. Strain and chill.

Add a Twist

Add a few drops of vanilla extract (or 0.25 oz vanilla syrup). Vanilla softens the heat and blends beautifully with cardamom, giving the cocktail a rounder, creamier finish.

Mocktail Version

A spicy, cozy non-alcoholic sour:
  • Replace whiskey with strong black tea (cooled)
  • Add hot honey syrup, cardamom syrup, and lemon
  • Shake with ice and strain
