1 cup water 1 cup organic cane sugar 3 teaspoons loose leaf Earl Grey tea about 9 grams or 3 tea bags
In a small saucepan, combine the water and sugar. Stir over medium heat until the sugar is fully dissolved.
Remove from the heat and add the Earl Grey tea.
3 teaspoons loose leaf Earl Grey tea
Let the tea steep for 3–4 minutes, or until you reach your desired strength.
Strain out the tea leaves (or remove the tea bags).
Allow the syrup to cool, then store in a sealed jar or bottle in the refrigerator for a week or freeze it for a few months.
