Notes

Using Fresh Orange Blossoms

Ingredients:

    • 1 cup water
    • 1 cup fresh orange blossoms

Instructions:

    1. Combine water and sugar in a saucepan. Heat until the sugar dissolves completely.
    1. Add the orange blossoms and let the mixture simmer gently for 5 minutes.
    1. Remove from heat and pour into a clean, heat-safe jar.
    1. Let it steep for at least 1 hour, tasting occasionally.
    1. Once it’s fragrant and flavorful, strain the syrup through cheesecloth to remove all petals and impurities.
This version has a slightly more herbal-citrus edge and a beautiful floral depth. Just make sure your blossoms are free of pesticides and fully clean before steeping.
